Engaged
December 4th, 2005It’s official – Faith and I are engaged. We went out for dinner in Chicago this weekend, and went for a carriage ride after – during which, I proposed. Technically, I had proposed a week earlier when we picked out the ring and she wanted to wear it around right after. But this was the official “how did he ask you” proposal.
I have to say, if you had told me eight years ago that I would be engaged someday, I might have called you a liar. But I supposed I’ve changed a lot over eight years, and it’s certainly a good thing.
Boy, this has been a big year. Got engaged, changed jobs, and saw a ton of concerts. Certainly not the year I expected it to be. I can honestly say it has been the best of times, and the worst of times.
