My name is Tony Ballinger, and I'm a web designer living in Oak Park, Illinois.
When I'm not designing for the web, I enjoy music, go to concerts and play with gadgets.

The club serves a few purposes:

I enjoy music, and I buy an awful lot of CDs. I also enjoy sharing what I think is good stuff with people who might enjoy it. Some of my favorite music is stuff that a friend turned me on to, and now I’m trying to do that for all of you. I used to make mix tapes for friends all the time, but who listens to cassettes anymore?

If each of you get turned onto one new band and buy their CD or see them live, the club’s a success.

Most importantly, some of the members are very old friends, but we don’t talk as often as we might like. People move out of the area, people get busy. Each month’s selection of music is a little reminder that I’m still your friend, and I’m thinking of you, even if I’m far away.
